My general project is to study the implication of innate immune cells in homeostasis of biological barriers. Several innate immune cells are present close to organism barriers and exert an immunosurveillance role. They are also involved in tissue repair. Among these cells, type 2 innate immune cells (ILC2) have been recently discovered. I study more precisely the role of these cells in fibrosis development occurring in systemic sclerosis, an auto-immune disease.
