Call for abstracts (closed)
The program committee welcomes abstracts for contributed full-length talks (30 min, including 10 min Q&A) as well as flash talks (5-10 min) by scientists and philosophers on any subject combining biological or medical science with a conceptual or philosophical approach in such a way that the resulting paper makes an important contribution from both a scientific and a philosophical point of view. Talks that result from collaboration among philosophers and scientists are especially welcome.
.
The deadline for abstract submissions is 22 April 2022.
.
Abstracts should be 500 words max.
.
Authors must remove all identifying information from their title and abstract. Please indicate in your abstract whether you are applying to give a full-length talk, flash talk, or either. If an author indicates ‘either’, then the committee will first consider their abstract for a full-length talk; if the abstract is not selected for a full-length talk, it will then be considered for a flash talk.
The program committee aims to notify authors of the result of their submission by the end of May 2022. The conference may have limited funding to help defray the cost of travel for postdoctoral fellow and student presenters.
